Moving beyond buzzwords to real, adaptable systems that automate tasks and respond to threats in real time.

The SAFE gang at Black Hat
By Resha Chheda
Black Hat USA 2025 was a reminder of how fast cybersecurity is changing—and how critical it is to separate hype from reality. It was also an exciting time for us: in our Black Hat debut, SAFE expanded our presence and officially launched our CTEM product. We had engaging conversations with customers and prospects, sharing insights and learning firsthand about their challenges.
The SAFE gang at Black Hat USA 2025
Everywhere you looked, companies were talking about Agentic AI and automation, but what really matters is how these technologies help security teams get real work done. The real question is: Who’s actually delivering on it? The differentiator isn’t just using buzzwords—it’s about real, adaptable systems that can automate tasks and respond to threats in real time.
Here’s what stood out from Black Hat—and how SAFE is turning these ideas into meaningful outcomes for customers.
1. Automation That Goes Beyond Alerts
Most security tools flood teams with alerts and leave it to analysts to prioritize and decide what to fix. This creates delays and burnout. SAFE’s Agentic AI doesn’t stop at alerts—it automatically sorts through the noise, prioritizes issues based on real risk, and triggers remediation steps where possible. This reduces manual effort and speeds up response times. Our customers report significant drops in the time it takes to close vulnerabilities, freeing their teams to focus on more strategic work.
2. Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) Focuses on What Matters
Traditional vulnerability management often results in long lists of technical issues with no clear indication of which pose actual business risk. SAFE’s CTEM platform connects technical exposures with financial and operational impact through native risk quantification. This gives security teams and business leaders a clear view of which risks to prioritize, improving decision-making and helping organizations reduce their overall cyber risk.

3. Extending Risk Visibility and Automation Beyond Your Walls
Cyber risk isn’t confined to your own systems. Third-party vendors and partners introduce risk that’s hard to track and manage. SAFE applies the same automated risk scoring and continuous monitoring to third-party risk management (TPRM), giving organizations a unified view of risk across their entire ecosystem. This helps customers identify weak links faster and reduce supply chain vulnerabilities before they turn into breaches.
4. Delivering Measurable Business Outcomes, Not Just Data
Many security platforms produce reports and dashboards but fall short on driving real improvement. SAFE is designed to deliver clear, measurable results—whether it’s reducing the number of exploitable vulnerabilities, speeding up remediation cycles, or providing risk metrics that executives can understand and act on. Our customers tell us they see faster remediation, improved collaboration between security and business teams, and better communication with boards and regulators.

5. One Platform That Brings It All Together
Fragmented tools cause confusion and slow down security programs. SAFE unifies vulnerability data, financial risk modeling, and remediation workflows in a single platform. This gives teams a clearer, end-to-end picture of their exposure and the steps needed to reduce risk. The result: faster decision-making, more effective resource allocation, and a stronger security posture.
What Effective Security Looks Like
Black Hat 2025 made it clear that the organizations that succeed in cybersecurity are the ones whose tools actually help teams make decisions and take action—inside their networks and across the wider ecosystem. Seeing how automation and real-time risk insights can support this in practice was a strong reminder of what effective security looks like.
