“Autonomous, AI-driven TPRM platforms point to a path forward,” influential business magazine says.

Leading business journal Forbes is just out with an article that covers the launch of SAFE’s fully autonomous TPRM solution, quotes SAFE CEO Saket Modi as a thought leader in third-party risk, and places SAFE at the head of “a new generation of solutions…that seeks to rethink the structure of TPRM altogether.”

Forbes aligns with SAFE’s critique of TPRM as falling far behind a vast expansion of the enterprise attack surface, driven by increasing third-party relationships. “The question many CISOs are asking is: Can organizations grow without increasing their risk exposure?”
“Traditional TPRM is a perfect storm of fragmentation, manual labor, and misaligned incentives,” SAFE CEO Saket Modi explains to Forbes. TPRM has remained “tethered to spreadsheets, one-off tools, and reactive thinking.”
The article describes the SAFE approach of “specialized AI agents that handle key parts of the vendor risk lifecycle—such as onboarding, assessments, and ongoing monitoring—with minimal human intervention.
“This agentic AI model enables the automation of previously manual workflows and provides continuous visibility into vendor risk.”
Modi further explains the difference between traditional automation tools and SAFE’s AI agents: “Automation executes tasks. Autonomy makes decisions.”
“Autonomous, AI-driven TPRM platforms point to a path forward,” the article concludes, “one that supports velocity without sacrificing visibility.”
